“I started this four years ago,” said Richard Thompson, parishioner and cantor of St. Mary’s and both volunteer and ambassador of the Food Basket.

He said it began as solos and invited other churches. Ten concerts have been performed and approximately $8,000 dollars to date have been raised according to Sue Drummond, Food Basket Co-Leader. Sunday’s total was $1,241.
