Family movie night

SWARTZ CREEK – “Dolphin Tale” will be shown on the big screen at the Pajtas amphitheater at dusk Friday, July 10. Bounce house sets up at 7:30 p.m. Bring blankets, lawn chairs, snacks, bug spray. Lego Club at Gaines library

GAINES – The Gaines Station Library will host a Lego club from 11 a.m. to noon Saturday, July 11. Children age 6 to 12 may participate. Kids will work in teams to build projects that will be displayed in the library. No registration required. – L.R.

Bat conservation

GAINES – The Gaines Station Library will host a program on bat conservation from 1 p.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, July 11. Children and teens can meet four live bats from around the world, including the Stellaluna bat. Register at (989) 271-8720. – L.R.

Blood pressure checks

SWARTZ CREEK – Professional Nursing Services Inc. will offer blood pressure checks from 9:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. Thursday, July 16, at the Senior Center. The service is available on alternate Thursdays. – L.R.
