File Photo SWARTZ CREEK – Casey Allessie, a 2017 Swartz Creek grad, will continue her soccer career at Delta College after signing her national letter of intent in May. She also considered Northwood and Siena Heights, but liked the campus, its location, the friendly people and just the fact that she gets to keep playing soccer.

Undecided on a major, Allessie is just excited to take her game to the next level.

“I am excited for the new experiences college will bring, like living away from home with teammates!” said Allessie.

Allessie, who wore No. 1, finished out her high school career helping the Dragons win the Flint Metro League title, the school’s first-ever girls’ soccer title. The Dragons were undefeated during the regular season and lost in the district finals against Grand Blanc 1-0.

“My senior year high school highlight was winning the Metro Championship,” noted Allessie.

She finished with 77 goals in her high school career, putting her second alltime in the school’s record book.

Allessie wanted to thank her dad, Ted, for all he has done for her over the years.

“I’d like to thank my dad for supporting me through my entire soccer career and helping me with the recruiting process,” said Allessie.
