CLAYTON TOWNSHIP – PAWS Animal Rescue will host the 9TH annual “Love Rescued Me” dinner auction April 27 at American Legion Post 294, 3440 Morrish Road.

Doors open at 5:30 p.m. Tickets cost $12 per adult, $5 per child (age 6-12), and free for children 5 and under. Ticket purchases can be made by visiting pawsanimalrescue.net, click the donate button and note dinner auction in the comment box.

All proceeds will support PAWS Animal Rescue, a non-profit organization that is passionately dedicated to saving abused, neglected, and abandoned animals. The work-force behind PAWS is volunteer-based and operational needs such as medical care, boarding, food and animal training are just some of the expenses supported by donations from friends of the rescue, community members, and area businesses.

PAWS guiding values are: To prevent animals from going to kill shelters, research and animal control facilities; increase adoptions of unwanted animals to a loving forever home; to educate the public regarding the value of the animals in their lives; to increase public awareness about the importance of spaying/ neutering their pets; and, to provide training and rehabilitation for the animals with adoption barriers.

In addition to ticket sales, auction donations and sponsorships are also currently being collected. For more information contact Ellen Brothers at 810.513.2270 or pawsrescuemail@gmail.com. – L.R.
