Pride and Spirit

Photos by Ryan Hicks Photos by Ryan Hicks The traditional powderpuff football game kicked off Spirit Week and the lead-in to the Homecoming Game. It was juniors versus seniors as the women took to the gridiron and the men donned tutus and cheered them on. The seniors battled to a 12-7 victory. Festivities continued with Pride and Spirit Night on Wednesday. Game night fun starts at 5 p.m. Friday with the annual Homecoming parade featuring Roger Sharp as grand marshal, the queen candidates and class princesses, fall sports athletes and marching band, and the class floats. The parade route remains the same, going east on Crapo and Maple streets, north on Morrish Road, west on Miller Road and south on Fairchild Street. Remember that those roads will be shut down about 15 minutes before the parade begins. Coming off a 14-12 win against the Clio Mustangs last week, the Dragons are fired up and ready to remain undefeated as they face off against the Owosso Trojans at 7 p.m. Friday.
