Crim Fitness Foundation celebrates start of 2019 Greater Flint Olympian Games


GRAND BLANC – The Crim Fitness Foundation announced at a press conference last Thursday at Warwick Hills Golf and Country Club that it is pleased to announce the continuation of one of Flint’s oldest athletic traditions, the Greater Flint Olympian Games and CANUSA Games.

Commencing in June, with dozens of sporting events open to all ages, the Olympian Games will bring together athletes from throughout Genesee County to compete. From August 9-11, Flint will host hundreds of athletes from Hamilton, ON for the 2019 CANUSA Games, where the top athletes from the Greater Flint Olympian Games will represent our area in this unique international event with Flint’s sister city.

Event organizers also announced the CANUSA 5K Run and Walk, to be held Saturday, September 14, in conjunction with The Ally Challenge presented by McLaren, at Warwick Hills Golf & Country Club. All proceeds from the race will support the Greater Flint Olympian and CANUSA Games.
